Service Description
Getting ready for a baby can feel exciting… and completely overwhelming. There are tiny clothes to wash, spaces to organize, postpartum supplies to gather, and a million little things to think about before baby arrives. The Best Nest is hands-on nesting support designed to take some of that mental and physical load off your plate. I’ll come into your home and help get your space feeling organized, functional, and ready for those first precious weeks with baby. During your four-hour session, I can wash, dry, fold, and organize baby clothes, help set up and organize the nursery, create postpartum stations throughout your home, organize baby supplies, and tackle those little nesting projects that have been sitting on your to-do list. The goal isn't perfection, it's creating a home that works for you. A space where the things you need are easy to find, the essentials are within reach, and you can spend less time worrying about your surroundings and more time resting, recovering, and getting to know your new baby. The Best Nest is available as a standalone service or as an add-on to your birth or postpartum doula package. 4-hour session: $200 +hst
Cancellation Policy
The Best Nest is a four-hour, in-home nesting and preparation service designed to help families create an organized, functional, and comfortable space for life with a new baby. Service Time: The Best Nest is a four-hour service priced at $200 +hst. The four-hour timeframe includes all service-related time spent in the home. Because every family and home is different, specific tasks cannot be guaranteed. Priorities will be discussed ahead of the visit, and I will focus on completing the tasks that will be most helpful to your family. If additional time is requested or needed, extra time may be available depending on scheduling and will be discussed and approved before extending the visit. What I Can Help With: The Best Nest is intended for light, hands-on organization and preparation. This may include: * Washing, drying, folding, and organizing baby clothing * Organizing baby linens, blankets, and supplies * Setting up or organizing nursery spaces * Creating postpartum recovery stations around the home * Organizing feeding, diapering, and baby-care supplies * Preparing commonly used items so they are easy to access * Helping identify practical places for baby and postpartum supplies * Tackling small nesting projects that help your home feel more prepared What Is Not Included: The Best Nest is not intended to replace professional cleaning, moving, deep cleaning, decluttering, or home organization services. It does not include heavy lifting, furniture assembly, climbing on ladders, hazardous cleaning, or tasks requiring specialized equipment or expertise. I reserve the right to decline any task that I feel is unsafe or outside the scope of the service. Booking & Payment: The Best Nest can be booked as a standalone service or added to an existing birth or postpartum doula package. Payment is due according to the terms outlined at the time of booking. Your appointment is considered confirmed once payment has been received. Cancellations & Rescheduling: I understand that pregnancy and preparing for a new baby can be unpredictable. If you need to reschedule your Best Nest appointment, please provide as much notice as possible. Appointments may be rescheduled based on availability. Cancellations with less than 48 hours' notice may be subject to a cancellation fee, as the time has been reserved specifically for your family.
